44th World Religions Conference
44th World Religions Conference
From Battlegrounds to Common Grounds
The World Religions Conference Organizing Committee, invites everyone the 44th World Religions Conference, taking place on Sunday, November 22, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at Lazaridis Auditorium, Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo.
This year's timely and thought-provoking theme is:
“From Battlegrounds to Common Grounds”
At a time when conflicts and divisions continue to challenge our world, the conference will bring together distinguished representatives of eight faith and philosophical traditions to explore how dialogue, shared human values, and mutual understanding can help build a more peaceful and harmonious society.
Now in its 44th year, the World Religions Conference is one of Canada's largest and longest-running multi-faith events, attracting over 800 participants in recent years, including community leaders, scholars, students, dignitaries, and people from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
