Since Oct. 7, Jewish life in Canada has been profoundly affected -marked by a sharp rise in antisemitism on our streets, hate crimes, and growing hostility towards Israel and Jewish people worldwide. Ellin Bessner is a journalist with The Canadian Jewish News and has been reporting from the front lines. She'll speak to the Waterloo Region community about the current state of antisemitism in Canada and where she sees glimmers of hope.
