I love getting a Sikh perspective of looking beautiful, a Unitarian perspective of “home”, a Baha’i perspective of surfing, or a Latter-day Saint perspective of punk rock, and seeing how they connect that with their faith or philosophy.
When I have been sitting still for too long (often in front of my computer screen), I feel much better when I get up and move a little. Often I bring my phone with me, and lately I have been finding inspiration by scrolling through Interfaith Grand River’s short videos on YouTube as I walk. It is a way of getting someone else’s perspective with very little commitment on my part. The videos are less than a minute long.
There are somewhere around a hundred videos that have been posted, so there is enough to keep me occupied for some time.
