November 12, from 9:30 to 11:30am at Rockway Mennonite Church

Bystander Intervention Strategies Workshop: What can I do about this mess? November 12 from 9:30 to 11:30 at Rockway Mennonite Church, 47 Onward Ave, Kitchener. Feel empowered to do something in the face of the negative and downright hateful actions that we hear are happening, even in our own neighbourhoods. Spoiler alert: you are already doing some of it. You will leave with things to think about, as well as practical suggestions on what to do in challenging situations. Faith in Action. Long term solutions. Responding to trauma. Crisis responses. Changing behaviour. Looking after yourself. Interfaith Grand River: for over a quarter century, IGR has sought to be a positive voice of unity, seeking to help address the common concerns of humanity that underly our diverse perspectives and beliefs. Please email interfaithgrandriver@gmail.com if you are coming so we can make sure we have enough chairs. www.interfaithgrandriver.org
